Greenwich, CT (April 27, 2019) The countdown is on, as opening day is just six weeks away! Greenwich Polo Club is thrilled to announce the return of many familiar faces, along with some exciting new players. The opening tournament of the season, the Shreve, Crump & Low Cup, will feature a full lineup of six teams. Phillip Mactaggart's Hawk Hill squad is led by veteran 7-goaler Gringo Colombres; The Island Houseteamreturns with Peter Holowesko along with fan-favorite young gun Victorino "Toro" Ruiz a 7-goaler at just 20 years old; Will Tomita adds a brand new team to the roster (name TBA); Jamal Nusseibeh joins the 20-goal league for the first time with team Altaris; Shane Finemore's Gardenvale will compete for the first time in Greenwich; and the legendary home team White Birch Farm returns with second generation patron Christopher Brant.
